in an interview with the reporter of the Geological Survey, said this conference is a call for all young Earth scientists which tries to introduce Earth sciences as a main applied approach among interested researchers of universities, in addition to share new achievements in the field of Earth sciences.

Scientific Secretary of Hazards claimed the recall had sent before and about 74 days remained to conference. Geological hazards and natural disasters  is one of the functional approach of this conference. Our goal is to encourage youth to learn about various aspects of natural geological hazards.

He said: with respect to high rate of climate changes in recent decades and the development of populated centers in the mega cities, and also considering rivers and active faults near them, risks such as floods, earthquakes, drought and hazards threaten the world's population especially in third world countries . So this approach is very important. Furthermore, issues related to water scarcity is one of the approaches that will be discussed in this conference.

Ghasemi also said this approach would have two workshops. The first workshop led by Dr. Mehdi Zare  about the risk of earthquakes in Iran and Southwest Asia and the second one headed by a young geologist, Mr. Jafar Hassan Pour in the field of structural geology in natural resources exploration and geologic risk assessment. The aim of this course is to use the knowledge of earth science for different purposes such as building dams, mineral prospecting and exploitation of oil and gas .
